Rob Siler is a lighting and projections designer based in Washington, D.C. and Orlando, who specializes in theatre, dance, and opera. Recent highlights include designing the lighting and projections for the world premiere of She A Gem at The Kennedy Center, lighting for Beethoven's Leonore for Opera Lafayette at The Kennedy Center and the Kaye Playhouse in New York City, and lighting and projections for the world premiere of Alabaster at Florida Repertory Theatre. His designs have been seen at The Kennedy Center, 59E59, Florida Repertory Theatre, Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, Abrons Arts Center, Gerald W. Lynch Theatre, DC Fringe Festival, Riverside Theatre, and Monumental Theatre Company, among others. He has also been an assistant lighting designer for A Delicate Balance and The Front Page on Broadway and productions at The Kennedy Center, Olney Theatre Center, The Studio Theatre, and Tuacahn Amphitheatre. He received his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Maryland and is a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
