UCF School of Performing Arts Fall 2020 FAQ

College of Arts and Humanities



The Theatre Minor provides an excellent foundation in theatre as a complement to any field of study. The program combines a broad overview of theatrical practice and literature with production experience.


Application materials must be submitted electronically to theatre@ucf.edu subject: Theatre Minor Application and must include the following:

  • A resume including previous theatre activities
  • A statement of why you want to become a Theatre Minor
  • A list of all theatre courses completed at UCF or any other university (Up to 6 credits may be used from coursework completed at other universities to meet Theatre Minor requirements)
  • A completed UCF Theatre Department Student Information Form

Once all your materials have been received, and you have been selected to join the Theatre Minor program, official paperwork will be processed. You will be notified via email if you are selected and assisted in officially declaring the minor.
