UCF School of Performing Arts Fall 2020 FAQ

College of Arts and Humanities

Theatre, Acting Track B.F.A.

Designed to prepare students for careers in pro...

The faculty evaluates students desiring to become majors via an interview and audition. All prospective students must prepare and provide the following:

  • An 8 x 10 Headshot (color)
  • Résumé
  • Three current letters of recommendation
  • Two contrasting monologues to total no more than three minutes
  • Transcripts of prior college credits

These items are separate from any items requested by admissions. Please bring these with you to your audition/callback. You may audition before completing your application to the University, but we do require that you have started the application process and strongly recommend that you submit your application to UCF prior to auditioning. You cannot be accepted into the B.F.A. program without being accepted to the university.

Schedule your audition:

There are currently no live onsite auditions for the BFA Acting Program for auditions for fall 2021. You may audition for the program one of the following two ways:

  • Video Audition through Acceptd
  • Virtual Online In Person-Like Experience through Acceptd “Audition Room”

Scheduling through Acceptd provides the opportunity to submit a video audition. The video audition for the BFA Acting program is not a pre-screening audition. There will be no callback for the video audition.

Please note Acceptd video submissions are open until January 31, 2021 at 5pm. Students may be admitted into the program from either the video audition or through another service provided by Acceptd called the “Audition Room.”

Acceptd Audition Room

Acceptd’s “Audition Room” seeks to recreate the in-person experience online by seamlessly moving auditionees between virtual rooms as they prepare for their audition and gives you a “live like” experience with the audition.

Auditions for the BFA Acting program - UCF Acceptd Audition Room will be conducted on February 13 and 27, 2021. Go to the following link to schedule your live virtual audition:
