Antigone: The Burial at Thebes

February 18 - February 28

UCF Black Box Theatre

Cost: $17 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $10 for students with UCF ID

By Seamus Heaney
Based on Antigone by Sophocles
Directed by Julia Listengarten

The age-old story of a sister's loyalty to her brother, even in the face of political pressure. Death on the battlefield merits recognition, no matter which side. Antigone epitomizes and argues a personal point of view vs a government statement of policy.

All shows begin at 8pm, except for Sunday matinees that start at 2pm.

Reservations are recommended and available through the UCF Conservatory Theatre box office at 407-823-1500. Group rates are available. The box office can assist with accommodations for patrons with disabilities.
