The theatre department conducts auditions/interviews for acceptance into our programs, but students must also be accepted into the university according to UCF standards. UCF has a limit on the number of students it will admit, so it is very important that you begin the UCF admission process right away. Students may audition for the theatre department prior to learning acceptance status, but will not be admitted to the department if not accepted to the university. We strongly encourage you to attend our auditions/interviews in person; however, if you cannot attend any of our listed dates in person, video submissions will be accepted. All performance audition video submissions must follow the audition guidelines as stated in that program's description and must be received before February 18, 2012 for consideration.

Telephone inquiries will NOT be processed between December 10, 2011 - January 9, 2012. Instead, for all degree programs except BA Theatre Studies please direct inquiries to audition@ucf.edu. BA Theatre Studies inquiries should be directed to the coordinator of that program, John Shafer.
